"Hot Alien Women Invade U.S., Seduce Men to Become Pregnant!" If the story of WANTED: ONE SEXY NIGHT came true, this would certainly be the tabloid headline we'd all be reading in the grocery store checkout line.
Mira is just that -- a beautiful, sexy alien who resembles a human female. She's just landed in Washington, D.C. and is on the prowl for her predetermined, perfect love match -- Lucas Diamond. She and several other "women" from her planet have landed in the United States on a mission to seduce and become pregnant by a human male in an effort to regenerate the population of their home planet.
Mira's species is far more advanced than humans on Earth. They possess superior mental, physical and emotional powers. Her planet is peaceful, as weapons and all harmful substances have been banned. However, years of genetic manipulation and cloning has left the men of her planet impotent. Her planet's scientists believe that mating with Earth men is the only way to reverse this problem.
Mira is on a mission to do just that. Ironically, Lucas' job is to hunt aliens. Only after he falls for the seductive ways of Mira does Lucas figure out he's sleeping with the "enemy." In the end, the peaceful aliens are not really the enemy after all. As in many situations, the humans here are their own worst enemies and we have much to learn from the aliens, who may be beautiful and sexy but are really not all that foreign to us.
Mira and Lucas take the reader on one stellar ride that left this reviewer rooting for the impossible -- a lifelong relationship between a human and an alien. Both were endearing in this cleverly told love story that is truly "out-of-this-world."
