Mandy Newman's week is full of death and dollars, lots of
them. Mandy is a partner in an all-women law firm in Tampa,
Florida, that handles divorces. Her life is threatened as
she drives home from a busy day at work, anxious to see her
little baby girl, and finds herself the victim of an
attempted murder. A truck rams her car and pushes it off a
bridge where the car sinks to the bottom of the bay. Mandy
fights death and wins. Her wallet, briefcase and a group
lottery ticket that Mandy bought sinks along with her car.
Mandy buys a replacement ticket for her officemates the
next day. She soon discovers that she has the winning
ticket to Florida's biggest Powerball jackpot. That is
until someone steals it, injuring her partner in the

come out of an assignment gone bad where a child died. He
feels responsible and hasn't been cleared for duty yet, so
protecting Mandy is perfect. He doesn't know what the
future holds, but he knows he's dedicated to his job. Once
his sister is injured and the lottery ticket is stolen,
Zack and Mandy start their own investigation.
One by one, the women are attacked. Mandy decides she needs
to tell Zack about his daughter even though she doesn't
trust him. One look at his daughter and Zack's heartstrings
are pulled tight. There's no way he can leave now. And
Mandy already has his heart. As the two get closer to the
truth, the murderer plots to kill another. Mandy and Zack

their way back to each other in the process.
