Gerry Kavanaugh works for the Paranormal Undercover Field Force (PUFF for short), an organization that ensures those of the supernatural world co-exist lawfully in the human world. She's at the Castle of Dark Dreams after receiving a tip that a jewel thief and a serial wife-killer are at the castle. Capturing both will be a feather in her cap and a sure promotion in the PUFF organization. The last thing she wants or needs is an immortal warrior dogging her steps and interfering in her investigation simply because of a curse she didn't even know existed. Conall, however, is determined to protect the beautiful vampire, especially when it becomes apparent that someone is trying to kill her.

Conall and Gerry soon realize they are pawns in a much bigger game of cat-and-mouse to an assortment of chaos demons and cosmic troublemakers. Sparkle Stardust is as determined to see the two become lovers as the mysterious Edge is determined to keep them apart. And Morrigan seeks to keep Conall and Gerry from any kind of happiness, threatening Conall's descendants if he and Gerry experience any sort of sexual fulfillment together. Thwarting those trying to keep them apart becomes as much of a battle as discovering exactly who's trying to kill Gerry, and why, and the two are equally devoted to overcoming both obstacles.

WICKED FANTASY is the crowning glory in Nina Bangs' Castle of Dark Dreams trilogy. Conall and Gerry are a kick- ass sexy couple and many of the characters from WICKED NIGHTS and WICKED PLEASURE show up to make their lives more than a bit crazy. Ms. Bangs layers this story so that what one believes is, isn't! There's a surprise twist at the end, and readers finally discover exactly who's responsible for all the supernatural chaos going on at the castle. This is my favorite book in the trilogy and was worth waiting for!
