Ms. Lindsey pens a tale laced with charismatic characters,how could she not with the Mallory's to work with, vivid imagery and a captivating plot that will not allow you to put the book down. I was up all night reading CAPTIVE OF MY DESIRES. I laughed at the wonderful bantering between Gabrielle and Drew. I also cried when two hearts soared together. Both Gabrielle and Drew are wonderful characters that you can not help but to fall in love with. Gabrielle is stubborn, smart and has a lot of compassion for both the pirates and high society people in her life. Drew is just yummy. He is extremely stubborn in denying the passion he feels for Gabrielle. The secondary characters are just as fun and vibrant to read. Ms. Lindsey proves once again why she is an award winning author with CAPTIVE OF MY DESIRES.
