The MacElder chieftain decrees that his cousin, Fiona, will
wed the mighty warrior Tarr of Hellewyk to provide
protection for their clan. Tales of Fiona's courage and
hunting skills have spread through the land and have
attracted the attention of Tarr, who wishes a strong mate.
Fiona vehemently denies her chieftain's order. She wishes

Ms. Fletcher pits humor and romance against an action and
adventure novel with good results. Readers will enjoy the
headstrong Fiona and look forward to Aliss' tale.
