Danny concentrated on the fight. Seeing Jane in action was a thing of beauty. If he could get his hands on her, he could make her submit, but damn, she was fast. She kept surprising him with drop moves and rolls. Finally, just when he thought his lungs would explode, he was able to grab onto her block and he had her. He pinned her beneath him and propped his elbows on either side of her head. The rise and fall of her chest against his made him forget why he was there. Her breathing was labored. “Your sister is going to need you fighting in her corner. You should respect her wishes.” The sound of clapping hands made them turn their heads to find Breck had been watching. “So that’s how the pros do it? Impressive.” Danny released her, and she rolled away onto her feet.
