Excerpt of Looks like Trouble to Me by Calinda B

She settled next to him. After a few minutes, she said,
โ€œJace?โ€

โ€œMm hmm.โ€

โ€œWhen do we get toโ€ฆyou know?โ€

โ€œTell me.โ€

โ€œWhen do we get to, um, screw. Fu**. Make love.โ€

โ€œSomeoneโ€™s eager.โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re not?โ€

โ€œI didnโ€™t say that.โ€ He reached for her hand and placed it
on his throbbing
cock. โ€œDoes this feel like a guy who doesnโ€™t want to plunge
inside the
woman next to him?โ€

โ€œNot at all. What are you waiting for?โ€

โ€œThis is foreplay, baby.โ€

โ€œForeplay?โ€

โ€œThe art of seduction.โ€

โ€œWhatโ€™s that?โ€

โ€œWhat weโ€™re doing. Iโ€™m seducing you, Jace Savage style.โ€

โ€œDo you do this often?โ€

โ€œSeduce Zoรฉ Dubois? No. This is my first time.โ€

โ€œNo, I mean seduce women.โ€

โ€œOh, I see where this is headed. Weโ€™re back to you vetting
me for my
qualifications as a suitor. Am I a womanizer? A player?
Thatโ€™s what youโ€™re
asking.โ€

โ€œAre you?โ€

โ€œIโ€™ve had my share of women.โ€

โ€œHave you ever fallen in love?โ€

โ€œOh, yes.โ€ He let out a long, slow breath. โ€œAnd I believe
Iโ€™ll do it
again,โ€ he said boldly. Actually, the thought scared the
shit out of him as
evidenced by his madly racing pulse.

โ€œWith who?โ€

โ€œWith you, who else?โ€ He kissed her temple tenderly, while
his heart
hammered in his chest.

โ€œHow can you be sure?โ€

โ€œShhh, Zoรฉ Dubois. Look at the stars. All your needs will
get met, I assure
you. Iโ€™m scheming as we lay here.โ€

โ€œReally?โ€

โ€œYes, really.โ€

โ€œI can wait then.โ€

โ€œCan you?โ€

โ€œYes, I can wait with eager anticipation.โ€

โ€œI like the sound of that. Makes me hot, actually.โ€ Oh,
babyโ€ฆ

โ€œDoes it?โ€

โ€œOh, yeah. Very. Feel it.โ€ He placed her hand on his cock
again. โ€œCan you
feel how much I ache for you? This is me, longing to be
inside of you.โ€

โ€œWhatโ€™s stopping you?โ€

โ€œWho said Iโ€™m stopping? More like savoring. The night is
young.โ€

โ€œWeโ€™re back to the art of seduction, are we?โ€ she said. โ€œTwo
can play at
seduction, you know.โ€

Mmm. Perfect response. He glanced over at her smiling face,
focused on the
stars. โ€œItโ€™s far better with two.โ€

โ€œThen, game on.โ€

The simple statement made his cock pulse with joy. โ€œAre you
saying youโ€™re
going to seduce me back?โ€ he said, smiling mischievously.

โ€œIโ€™m saying, two can play. Youโ€™re one and Iโ€™m one. That
makes two.โ€

โ€œUnderstood. Simple math.โ€ He ran his tongue along his teeth
in
anticipation.

They both fell quiet for a while, inhaling the nightโ€™s
mystery.

โ€œIโ€™m going to wreck you, you know.โ€

His voice seemed to hit her like a bullet, causing her to
jerk. โ€œYou are?
What does that mean?โ€

โ€œYouโ€™re never going to want anyone else, Iโ€™m going to
guarantee that.โ€

โ€œThatโ€™s a pretty bold statement for someone who hasnโ€™t made
a move yet.โ€

โ€œI want to warn you, is all.โ€

โ€œIโ€™ve been warned.โ€

โ€œAnd youโ€™re not running?โ€

โ€œYou could be all talk.โ€ She shifted next to him. โ€œActually,
Iโ€™m getting
cold. Can we go somewhere warm?โ€

โ€œLike where?โ€

โ€œI donโ€™t know. Iโ€™ll leave that up to you.โ€

โ€œOkay.โ€ He looked at her quizzically, wondering if heโ€™d
played this all
wrong.

They bundled up the blanket, picked up the gear and traipsed
out of the
wooded area. He climbed on the bike, and said, โ€œReady for
you.โ€

โ€œGood,โ€ she said. She sauntered toward him, took the helmet
from his hands
and set it on the ground.
His eyebrows rose. โ€œSomething in mind?โ€

โ€œForeplayโ€™s over, baby,โ€ she said. She slid her tight jeans
down, yanked
them off each foot over her shoes, and dropped them on top
of the helmet.

His eyes grew saucer wide. Holy hell. He licked his lips,
all thoughts,
schemes, strategies blown away.
