Jill Gardner—owner of Coffee, Books, and More—has
somehow been talked
into sponsoring a 5k race along the beautiful California
coast. The race is
a fundraiser for the local preservation society—but not
everyone is feeling
so charitable…
The day of the race, everyone hits the ground running…until
a local
business owner stumbles over a very stationary body. The
deceased is the
vicious wife of the husband-and-wife team hired to promote
the event—and
the husband turns to Jill for help in clearing his name.
But did he do it?
Jill will have to be very careful, because this killer is
ready to put her
out of the running…forever!
This is the first time that you might have chosen a book that was not quite up to your usual caliber. Although I'll give this book a 2nd look, I just wasn't overjoyed at the prospect of reading it, as I've been at all the other books you've chosen. Knowing what a daunting challenge it is to come up with a good book all the time, it's understandable how you need to put a so-so book in the fray once in a while, and I'm sure this one has its' merits. There was just something about the interview that rubbed me differently, and put me on the other side of the fence. (Peggy Roberson 8:44am November 9, 2015)
I should think this to be well worth reading. I enjoyed the interview, as well. Thank you both! (Kathleen Bylsma 12:56pm November 9, 2015)
My apologies to our readers and to author Lynn Cahoon, there is a formatting glitch that has changed Murder on Wheels to Muder on Wheels. I assure you a muder isn't anywhere near as interesting as Lynn's tale of Murder on Wheels will be! (Kym Roberts 11:33pm November 10, 2015)
Hi Peggy!
Thank you for stopping by the Cozy Corner as often as you do. I'm sorry my interview didn't quite do it for you this week, I loved Lynn's book and that's why I asked her for an interview. If it fell short for you, than I take responsibility for not representing Lynn's writing in the positive light that I and so many other readers view it. Lynn is a New York Times Best selling author because of her talent at the keyboard. I hope you'll continue to stop by and check out our features and our interviews and of course our giveaways as well. :) (Kym Roberts 11:42pm November 10, 2015)
Thank you, Kathleen! Lynn is an awesome lady who is in this business to stay;) And cozy readers are all the better for it! (Kym Roberts 11:46pm November 10, 2015)
