Ronde Barber

Ronde Barber was born in Roanoke, Virginia, where he played with his brother on the Cave Spring Vikings and wore #21. Currently he is one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL and wears #20 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One of just two cornerbacks in the entire NFL selected to the All-Pro Team, he was also named the NFL Alumni Defensive Back of the Year in 2001 and was selected to his second Pro Bowl in 2004. A volunteer for Tampa Bay Reads, which builds literacy programs in local communities, and a Verizon Literary Champion volunteer, Ronde Barber has long been a supporter of books and reading. Kirkus Reviews said of Tiki and Ronde Barber's first book, By My Brother's Side, "...the story will inspire." Ronde Barber lives with his wife, Claudia, and daughters, Yammile Rose and Justyce Rosina, in Florida.
