Anjali Banerjee
Anjali Banerjee was born in India, raised in Canada and California and received degrees from the University of California, Berkeley. The Seattle Times called Anjali's first novel for adults, IMAGINARY MEN, "an engagingly hip debut." From Publishers Weekly on her new novel, HAUNTING JASMINE (Feb. 2011): "Gently ironic supernatural elements...add dimension to a romance that spins refreshingly into a quirky, surprising denouement." Anjali has also written five novels for youngsters--three from Wendy Lamb Books/Random House and two from Mirrorstone Books. Anjali's Pushcart Prize-nominated short fiction has appeared in several literary journals and an anthology. She lives on the Olympic Peninsula with her husband and five cats.
