Barbara Plum

Barbara Plum

In high school, Barbara wrote a weekly column for her Southern Missouri hometown newspaper. Later, teaching adolescent boys, she put writing on hold. She acted in melodrama for stress relief. As a marketing specialist for IBM, she developed high tech materials for artificial intelligence and multimedia technologies. Creation of these materials really honed her fiction-writing skills. Besides living in Kansas, Missouri, Florida and North Carolina, she has lived in Mexico City, LaPaz (Bolivia) and Buenos Aires. She currently lives with her husband and two cats in the heart of Silicon Valley Barbara earned a Master's degree in Spanish and Linguistics from Kansas State University and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Missouri University.
