March Into Romance: New Releases to Fall in Love With!
Suzanne McMinn
I grew up reading Mary Stewart and Victoria Holt and Phyllis Whitney. I always wanted to be a writer, and when I discovered Harlequin Romances at 12, I knew it would be romance.
After more than 20 books–from traditional romance to contemporary romantic comedy, suspense and paranormal, and even a foray into medieval adventure–it’s still romance that calls to me. I love bad boys, cops, super agents, and everyday regular heroes–I love them all. I love how they save the day, and I love how they need a woman to save them–and maybe help them save the day, too.
I love romance novels, and I hope you love them, too. Could there be anything more beautiful–and more fun? Writing romance is, for me, a dream come true, and the best job in the world. I’m still a reader and spend much of my “spare” time reading, as well as gardening, baking, enjoying my digital photography hobby, and running my kids around to their various activities.
I’ve lived all over the United States–Texas, California, Idaho, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Maryland. But I love best where I am now, where my family has lived for over 200 years–in a small town in a holler in West Virginia. My home today is a farmhouse in the boonies where I’m sitting on a porch swing surrounded by family, friends, books, and a whole bunch of cats. Could life be better?
