Liz Wolfe
Liz Wolfe began her writing career in the dimly lit, cramped back offices of a major retailer in San Francisco where copywriters hammered out advertisements on ancient, manual typewriters. After a short stint with an advertising agency in Manhattan, she turned her back on retail and studied computer programming.
Liz learned that she had no talent for writing code but the school had given her a thorough knowledge of industry slang and buzz words which she quickly put to use as a technical writer. After several years of technical writing she fell victim to downsizing and her husband insisted she stay home for a while and write a novel.
She leapt at the opportunity and sat down to write a romantic suspense. When editors kept asking Where's the romance?, she concentrated on the suspense and immediately sold her first two suspense novels.
Liz lives with her husband in the Pacific Northwest where rainy, overcast days encourage long hours hunched over an ergonomic keyboard.
