Brenda L. Thomas

People, women mostly, often ask her how she rose to the position of personal assistant to NBA All-Star, Stephon X. Marbury. Actually, once she set a goal of working for a celebrity, she claims it was easy. She came up through the ranks by being a career secretary and administrator. What led her to the role of personal assistant was her working at AND 1 Basketball as amnager of product placement and player relations. In this position her responsibilities wereto place products on television sitcoms, movies, celebrities and athletes. In addition, she also supported the needs of their seven NBA players with appearances, games shoes and apparel.

Brenda came to them by way of her own business, Admin link where she provided professional administrative support to entrepreneurs. And of course there was the basic training she received by spending 12 years at IBM.

Her interest in writing isn't new; it was born from her love of reading as well as her desire to pass on her life stories and lessons to others. Her novel, Threesome, reflects some of those experiences. In the future, Brenda hopes to be able to dedicate herself exclusively to writing. She is currently working on her next book, a memoir title, Laying Down My Burdens.

You can usually find Brenda at home in Philadelphia where she resides with her two children, three grandchildren and a wealth of family and friends.
