Heide Katros

Heide Katros was born and raised in Germany near the French border. She is multi-lingual and traveled extensively throughout Europe. She met her pharmacist husband Mitch while on vacation at the Isle of Rhodos, Greece.

Heide began her writing career after her two sons went off to college. She reviews for several large publishing houses and wrote a column for the Winter Haven News Chief for their Women's Voice section until that addition was scrapped due to the economy. She particularly enjoys speaking to women's clubs these days.

She and Mitch are grandparents to Alex and Anna. They live with their English Springer Bibi in Winter Haven, Florida. Heide is an avid tennis player, while her husband enjoys golf.
