Debrah Morris
Debrah is a native Oklahoman who grew up in a rural
community. Her school, though small, gave her a great love
of academics, and she wrote her first story in the third
grade. Listening to her family tell stories about her
Cherokee and Irish ancestors taught Debrah the art of
storytelling at an early age; it also gave her a great love
of her Cherokee heritage, which continues today. Debrah is a licensed speech-language pathologist and still
works in that field when needed. Her primary career is writing. She and her husband of 25 years have three children, several
pets, and enjoy cruises and white-water rafting. Debrah also
putters in the garden, reads, cross-stitches, and indulges
her curious nature by exploring new areas of learning when
she has time. Debrah published more than 20 novels as the writing team
"Pepper Adams" and "Johanna Jordan" but has now begun a
bright career as a solo novelist. Her first books with
Silhouette have won stellar reviews.
