Elaine Knighton
I have an ethnic mix of Polish, English, and Scottish,
which can be volatile at times - a little Celt goes a long
way! An unending thirst for knowledge has kept my nose in
books from an early age. I started as a fine arts major in
college, but along the way also learned fencing, dressage,
scuba diving, and fiddle playing. I also studied astronomy,
oceanography, microbiology, anatomy, small engine repair -
a hopeless mishmash of interests!
But . . . horses and heroism. Crashing waves and magical
forests. A full moon and true love, the freedom of the wind
and the simple truth of a water-tumbled stone . . . these
are the kinds of things that have haunted my inner being
for as long as I can remember. I ultimately discovered that
for me, writing stories was the one way I could incorporate
into a united effort the eclectic ideas that fascinate me.
With that effort I hope to strike some chord of harmony or
of recognition that readers may find of value.
