Eleanor Sullo
When Eleanor Sullo and her husband visited Chambercombe
Manor in 1994 on a trip to explore Britains's heritage,
they discovered a secret room and a legend of skeletons,
pirates, ghosts and buried treasure. The writer in Ellie
could not resist casting their tale into a Victorian gothic
romance. Wings ePress published The Moonrakers, the March
2002 bestseller, and Ellie has just returned from a trip
back to North Devon, England, to promote her first
published novel. As a bonus, she and Joe lived for a week
in Chambercombe. After hearing "thumping" sounds in the
night, she knows now that despite her other commitments, a
sequel can't be far behind! Ellie has also published a contemporary, The Emerald Eye,
at another publisher, has a second contemporary accepted
for 2003 publication, contributed to the newly published
anthology, Let Us Not Forget, the stories of our country's
military heroes, including her own dad, Edward Sampeck, and
is contracted to Paulist Press for a memoir, 100 Seasons of
Love. Her food column with The American Catholic, Soul
Seasonings, her gardening, cooking and spiritual journey,
and over 100 non-fiction pieces in print (McCall's,
Northeast and others) and online, keep her from ever
getting bored, as does her extended-family living on a
small farm. Her husband Joe keeps their bags packed and
ready for the next traveling adventure!
