Michael Gurian

Michael Gurian is a therapist who has worked extensively with families, school districts, churches and criminal justice agencies. He is the author of eight books on male development and the last three, The Good Son, The Wonder of Boys and A Fine Young Man have brought him notoriety due to his defense of boys against charges that they have received institutionalized and societal favoritism over girls. His training videos for parents and volunteers are used by Big Brothers and Big Sisters agencies and his seminars have been widely successful.
