Sue Swift
A former trial attorney, Sue Swift retired from the law in
favor of writing romance and mystery. Since 1999, she's
sold four manuscripts. Her first book won the Beacon Award
for Best Historical Romance of 2000. Her second book is a
RITA finalist for Best Traditional Romance. She's active
in the Romance Writers of America, serving as President of
her local chapter in 2001. She also lectures to authors'
groups on various topics about writing.
A self-proclaimed jock, Sue is probably the only
Silhouette author to own both a second-degree black belt in
karate and a pair of ice hockey skates. She and her real-
