Nancy Kopp
Nancy grew up on a farm in southern Wisconsin. She began
writing for her own enjoyment at an early age, as the
picture below attests. She has a B.A. in history from the
University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and graduated magna cum
laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
After graduation from law school, she served a one year
term as the law clerk to a Wisconsin Supreme Court justice,
after which she spent three years as an associate in the
litigation department of a large law firm. Since 1987 she
has served as a Wisconsin Supreme Court Commissioner.
Nancy is an avid reader and enjoys traveling, old movies,
collecting antiques, cats, gardening and various other home
improvement projects. She is also interested in classic
cars, is a co-owner of a 1928 Packard, and is active in a
local auto club. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
