Gail Crease

Gail suspected early in life that one of her Gemini personalities was a writer. Blessed with a vivid imagination (definitely a plus when you're an only child), she grew up creating fantasy worlds, and wrote her first romance at an early age. She says there were always books in the house, everything from gothics to mystery adventures, but admits it was a Regency novel that got her started on her writing career. She has since published ten Regencies with Harlequin and Mills & Boon Historicals, writing under the pseudonym Gail Whitiker.

Originally hailing from Wales, Gail believes her other love, the paranormal, was fostered through frequent trips back to Pembrokeshire where she spent hours visiting the sites of ancient abbeys and brooding castles. She was delighted to see The Dream Spinner, her first contemporary paranormal, published by Berkley in the fall of 2000.

Since relocating to Vancouver Island, Gail has been able to indulge her passion for writing on a full time basis. A confessed chocoholic, she also enjoys music and travelling, but is still happiest when sitting by a fire with a laptop on her knees and a good strong cup of tea by her elbow!
