John Katzenbach
A Bard College graduate (1972), John Katzenbach was an award-winning reporter for the Trenton (N.J.) Times and the Miami News and Miami Herald before launching his fiction writing career. He has authored 16 best-selling novels and one acclaimed non-fiction book. He has been published in over 30 countries, in dozens of languages. Four of his books have been filmed. He has received writing awards in Germany, Austria, and France in addition to citations from The American College of Psychiatry and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. He has lectured on the modern psychological thriller at universities and medical schools throughout the USA and at festivals abroad. He has been named a U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassador. He is married to the journalist/author Madeleine Blais and lives in Western Massachusetts.
