David Warriner translates from French and has a deep passion for Franco, Nordic, and British crime fiction. Originally from Yorkshire, he developed a lifelong love of French culture at an early age. After earning a degree in modern languages from Oxford, he moved to Canada, where he spent over a decade as a commercial translator before returning to his first love—literary translation.
