Brian Moyer

Brian Moyer grew up at his family's Station in the Red Desert of Wyoming — a roadside stop on US-80, eight miles west of Wamsutter and four miles north of Delaney Rim — where he lived on the property and learned early that the high desert rewards attention and punishes everything else.

He bussed into Wamsutter for school, grades four through eight at the Desert School (population just over a hundred), and spent every afternoon and weekend he could out on the basin with a canteen and a lever-action .22, fifty miles of sage and stone between him and the nearest stranger.

Brian currently spends his time writing books, working on his ranch, and developing more capabilities.

He was a co-founder and CEO of Freshop, an online grocery platform acquired by NCR in 2021. Before Freshop, his career began as an Intelligence Analyst and Computer Scientist with the National Security Agency, working on the Internet before it went world wide.

Brian resides in Sonoma County, CA.
