From Oklahoma, I moved to Europe, where I found myself locked on an empty train in Poland, abandoned in a Czech forest with a compass, and falling in love with the only American man in my town.

I write contemporary rom-coms with elements of magical realism. I believe that at the heart of every amazing story lies the truth that what’s lost can be found, what’s broken can be healed, and what’s fallen can be redeemed.

Now I’ve just moved to Michigan after 24 years overseas. When not reading and writing, I’m teaching English, trying my hand at watercoloring, and raising my three kids with my husband. Usually with lots of games and jokes.
