Jem Spears (she/they/he) is a queer, neurodivergent writer who was raised in New England, educated in Los Angeles, and embraced by Cincinnati. Somewhere in the Midwest, when the sun dips below the horizon, if it's not too humid, you can find her in her natural habitat: napping beneath a pile of cats. The rest of the time, she's at her computer, making characters kiss. She also writes poetry and nonfiction as Jacquelyn Merrill Ruiz, and fanfic on AO3 under yet another pseudonym.
