Patricia Ryan

Pseudonym: P.B. Ryan.

Patricia Ryan is the author of seventeen critically acclaimed romances, which have been published in over twenty countries. Among the awards her books have garnered are the RITA for Best Long Historical Romance of 2000 (for Silken Threads), the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award, and the Golden Heart. Pat's romantic oeuvre consists so far of eight Harlequin Temptations, six medievals, two contemporary novellas, and one historical novella. What all her books have in common is a high level of both emotion and eroticism, but many readers have commented on the contrast between the dark complexity of her historicals and the light, often humorous tone of her contemporaries.
