Alice Jolly
Alice Jolly writes novels, short stories, memoirs and plays. She has won the Pen Ackerley Prize and the V. S. Pritchett Memorial Prize. Her novel ‘Mary Ann Sate, Imbecile’ was on the longlist for the Ondaatje Prize and was runner up for the £30,000 Rathbones Folio Prize. She has also been awarded an O. Henry Award (20 best short stories in the US). Her new novel ‘The Matchbox Girl’ (which is about Dr Asperger) will be published by Bloomsbury in November 2025.
