Ron Rindo
My wife, Jenna, and I raised our blended family of five children on five acres in Pickett, Wisconsin, where we care for an orchard of over twenty fruiting trees and bushesβapples, peaches, currants, and blueberriesβalong with large vegetable and flower gardens and a friendly flock of laying hens. Our children and four grandchildren are now rooted in Michigan, Wisconsin, Utah, and Colorado. My fiction and essays have appeared in a wide range of journals and magazines. I’ve published three short story collections and a novel, and I’m thrilled that St. Martin’s Press will release my new novel, Life, and Death, and Giants, in Fall 2025. Ordering info and early reactions are available here, along with details about my earlier books and links to stories and essays published online. After teaching at Birmingham-Southern College in Alabama, I returned to Wisconsin, where I’m now a professor of American Literature, Nature Writing, and Fiction Writing at UWβOshkosh.
