Kara Loo

After graduating from Stanford University with a BA in Creative Writing and Screenwriting, Kara Loo began her writing career in interactive mobile fiction, where she worked on titles that included Surviving High School, Cause of Death, High School Story, and Hollywood U. She was also part of the Pixelberry Studios team that launched the game Choices: Stories You Play and for that game, she wrote for and co-created the hit properties The Royal Romance, Rules of Engagement, and The Crown & The Flame. Her love of writing goes back to elementary school, where she first started by writing X-Men, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Disney princess fanfiction. She loves video games, science fiction, fantasy, post-apocalyptic stories, and anything with zombies. She can often be found with a cup of tea–Earl Grey, hot–and a scone, or at Disneyland.
