Emma Burstall
Before becoming a novelist, she worked as a journalist for newspapers and women’s magazines.
She began her career as a cub reporter for The Western Morning News in Plymouth, often racing through the Devon and Cornwall countryside in her ancient red Mini. After a brief period as an associate producer for a Sky TV chat show/magazine program, she became the features editor of Woman and Family Circle.
She studied English at Cambridge University and can still manage a bit of French and Spanish. Occasionally, she works out at her local gym, and she can sometimes be spotted jogging with friends and unruly dogs in Richmond Park—though at a rather leisurely pace.
She lives in South West London and has three children.
