As an armchair historian I've always been enthralled by late 19th century history. Over the years I've enjoyed Sherlock Holmes, though felt annoyed that other than Mrs. Hudson, the landlady, Conan Doyle included no female character who appeared regularly. Other authors have tackled this issue in a variety of ways, but I embraced the concept of making Jack the Ripper's daughter the primary protagonist while having the sister of Sherlock Holmes team up with her in a significant way. As for my history as a writer, my short fiction has appeared in such national literary journals as Del Sol Review and The Potomac Review, and I am a former writer for National Lampoon Magazine. My past novels include WELCOME HOME MAJOR BEARCLAW, THE DEADEST GUN IN THE WEST (Amazon Contest Finalist), and MARY AND THE GODDESS OF EPHESUS.
