Caleb Femi

Caleb Femi is the author of two poetry collections: The Wickedest (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2025) and Poor (Penguin, 2020), for which he was awarded the Forward Prize's Felix Dennis Prize for Best First Collection, and which was selected as a Book of the Year by The New StatesmanFinancial TimesThe GuardianThe Observer, and the BBC. In 2016, he was chosen as the first Young People's Laureate for London. He’s also a photographer and filmmaker who has produced and directed several award-winning short films, including Giraffe (2023), selected for the SUNDANCE London festival.
