Katerina Bakolias

Katerina Bakolias

Katerina is a Queer, Greek Canadian Actor, Screenwriter, Playwright, Producer, and Creator based in Halifax.

She is currently playing the role of Clara the Colony House Resident in the MGM+ TV series FROM and starring as Quinn in the digital series, Good Grief, in 2023.

Katerina was selected to participate in the 2022 Whistler Film Festival Screenwriting Lab under the guidance of story editor Ruth Atkinson and mentor Marie Clements (Bones of Crows) with her first feature film Salvage. Katerina is currently writing and producing a digital series (Good Grief) with her creative partner Amy Trefry.

Her first short film, Roomies, premiered in the 2020 FIN Film Festival and is now being broadcast on CBC Gem in the Reel East Coast Shorts Season Six.

Her play, Til Death Do Us Part, a slapstick comedy about a wedding gone wrong, premiered at Nova Scotia’s largest regional theatre, Neptune Theatre, in the Spring of 2022. Katerina is the recipient of the 2020 Chrysalis Emerging Artist Award.
