Mark Doyon

Mark Doyon

Mark Doyon is an American novelist, recording artist, and creative director.

He wrote the tragicomic novel Deep Fried and the short-story collection Bonneville Stories, and edited the literary magazine Friction. His work has been featured in PopMatters, The Washington Post, The Daily Vault, Hybrid, Skope, The Absinthe Literary Review, 3AM Magazine, Hypebot, Riffraf, and other spots.

He received a B.A. in English from the College of William & Mary and a master’s in arts management from the Shenandoah Conservatory.

He makes original music as Arms of Kismet (and sometimes as Waterslide). As founder of the arts label Wampus, he represents original books and albums, including retrospectives of the lives and work of Warren Zevon, Lou Reed, and Jonathan Richman.
