She also holds an MA from Dartmouth in Creative Writing (2018) and an MA from the University College Cork in British and American Literature (2020). Mary Liza is a Fulbright Scholar, an aunt, and a proud member of the queer community. She lives and writes in her hometown of Nashville. Her first novel, Love and Hot Chicken, is forthcoming from William Morrow in 2024.
