Carol Goodman Kaufman

Carol loves learning about new things and new places, particularly nature and food, and writes articles about both for the media and her blog, "A Moveable Feast." She has a food history/cookbook that she hopes will be published one day. One of her recent adventures has been learning about the full moon, resulting in the picture book "Once in a Full Moon," which tells the stories behind the different names for the full moon in rhyme. She also wrote "Pirate Ships and Shooting Stars," another rhyming picture book that encourages children to use their imaginations when looking up at the sky. She hosts a podcast called "Skygazing with Carolinda," which discusses various celestial events. She enjoys writing and publishing mystery short stories and has her first novel coming out, tentatively titled "The First Murder.
