John Boykin

John Boykin’s nonfiction book, One Brief Miracle, told the true behind-closed-doors story of American
diplomat Philip Habib’s mission to stop the 1982 Israeli siege of Beirut. Former Secretary of State George
Shultz wrote the foreword, and the book won the American Academy of Diplomacy book award under its
hardcover title, Cursed Is the Peacemaker. He wrote his first novel, The Constitution Has Expired, to explore
what would happen if the United Stated Constitution had to be rewritten.
