Christy Cashnman

Christy is an actress, producer and author. She is an active member of the Boston community, where she is on the Board of Directors for the Associates of the Boston Public Library as well as Co-Chair of The Literary Lights Committee. She is the founder of YouthINK, a not-for-profit creative youth mentorship program, shining a light & giving a platform to youth arts in both Ireland and the US. Prior to The Truth About Horses, Christy wrote two children’s books, The Not So Average Monkey of Kilkea Castle as well as Petri’s Next Things. She is currently working on her 2nd novel, Buelah. When not traveling abroad, Christy lives in Boston, MA with her husband, their two sons and three dogs, and summers off Chatham, MA.
