Sebastian Farr is well placed to provide an authoritative guide to technical standards. Having first been called to the Bar and after a period of practice in London and Brussels, he requalified as a solicitor and is now a partner at Simmons & Simmons in Brussels. In addition to his work in the complex field of technical standards, he has contributed a section on EC State Aids in a major looseleaf work and writes extensively on EC legal matters in a range of legal and trade journals.
