Keely Parrack

KEELY PARRACK is the author of Young Adult thrillers, DON'T LET IN THE COLD, 10 HOURS TO GO and picture books, HOW STARLING GOT HIS SPECKLES, MORNING, SUNSHINE! She came from the UK to the USA twenty years ago, and liked it so much she's still here, doing what she loves - writing young adult novels, poetry, and picture books, motivating kids to love reading and to be confident creative writers. Previously she's been a music, language arts and environmental science specialist as an elementary school teacher in the UK, a Child Center Director, in San Francisco, a social networker consultant for her local indie bookstore, and a sensory descriptive analyst for the Nation Food Laboratory.

Keely now fills her time writing, teaching kids creative writing, traveling, and designing haiku cards for her friends and family. She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband, and son
