Shaundra Felder

Shaundra Felder lives in Texas. Born and bred. Enough said. She loves spending time with her family and watching old westerns. Her favorites: Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and The Rifleman.

She believes there's nothing more sublime than getting lost in a good mystery. Where real-life boogie men and those of her own conjuring, come out to prey. Life's 'what if's' stoke the fire of her imagination and keep her creating the next unlikely villains.

Shaundra comes from a family of avid readers. As a kid, she remembers books all over the place. Stacked in corners, on shelves, and nightstands. Before she could read herself, she watched her aunts, uncles, mother, and grandmothers get lost in whatever books they were reading at the time...and use almost anything as a bookmark (laugh). She learned that a good read could be found in any genre. That was the beginning of Shaundra’s love for the crisp, dog-eared pages of books.

With her first mystery/thriller novel "Black Aries" published and a completed screenplay "Voices Carry" under her belt, Shaundra decided to stop being afraid to commit her stories to the page. Her mother's words still reverberate: “Don't doubt your talent. Pursue your dream".
