Katherine A. Sherbrooke
Katherine Apruzzese Sherbrooke was born and raised in New Jersey where she was schooled in all the foundational elements of writing at the Pingry School. After attending Dartmouth College and Stanford Business School, she caught the entrepreneurial bug and co-founded a company in Boston, which she grew and ran for many years. After leaving the business in capable hands, she found herself penning a family memoir, Finding Home. The experience "reminded her" that her first love had always been books and writing, and her childhood dream was to write a novel. She embarked on that journey with the help of GrubStreet in Boston, the premier creative writing organization in the country, and published her debut novel, Fill the Sky, in 2016. She currently serves as Chair of the Board of GrubStreet, and is hard at work on her next book.
