Ann Payton

Ann Payton is a Colorado travel writer and speaker with 20 years of experience in science education. With the help of colleagues, she created a program which makes Kids Chemistry Kits available for checkout at Pueblo Community College. As part of that project, she scripted and produced six videos explaining science concepts to children.

Ann’s travel stories have been featured in publications around the country including "The Washington Post," "Roads to Adventure," and "Jack & Jill." "Rocky Mountain Walkabout," her travel adventure novel, was highlighted as a “Top Pick” by Colorado Country Life Magazine.

As a creative writing instructor, she sailed with the Holland America World Tour, then developed a collection of sea-themed presentations for cruise ship audiences.
