Steve Holloway

Steve grew up in the beach cities of Los Angeles, and has always love the sea. When young, he actively explored the California coast, built salt water aquariums to observe animals like octopus and was active in marine ecology programs.

After earning a degree in Aquatic Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Steve Holloway worked in research and development , taking part in mariculture activities around the world. Steve and his family now live in England, where he consults for a Christian charity.

Steve uses any excuse to get into the sea - diving, snorkeling, body surfing, sailing, ocean kyaking or just poking around in tide pools. Pelagia reflects three of his passions: science, the sea and narratives of faith.
