Millie Criswell
Millie Criswell, USA Today best-selling author and winner
of the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award, the
National Readers Choice Award, Maggie Award, and Dorothy
Parker Award of Excellence has published over twenty-five
romance novels in various genres and has over two million
books in print. Millie began her writing career when her husband uttered
those prophetic words: "Why don't you try writing one of
those romances you're always reading?" Her secret
desire was to tap dance with the Rockettes, but when she
couldn't get her feet to cooperate, she opted to write
instead. She began writing shortly before her fortieth
birthday to stem a mid-life crisis and penned three full
manuscripts before selling her first, a historical, two-and-
a-half years later.
Millie resides in Virginia with her husband of thirty-four
years, Larry. She has two grown children, one adorable,
incredibly intelligent granddaughter, and a Boston Terrier
named Jake.
