Christina Thompson

Christina Thompson was born in Switzerland, grew up outside of Boston, and lived in Australia for nearly fifteen years. A dual citizen of the US and Australia, she has a BA from Dartmouth College and a PhD from the University of Melbourne. She is the author of two books: COME ON SHORE AND WE WILL KILL AND EAT YOU ALL, a memoir, and SEA PEOPLE: THE PUZZLE OF POLYNESIA, a history of the settlement of the remote Pacific by the ancestors of the Polynesians. She works at Harvard University, where she edits the literary journal HARVARD REVIEW and teaches writing at Harvard University Extension. She is married to a New Zealander with whom she has three sons.
