Paul Herron

Paul Herron

Paul Herron studied history and literature at American University before heading to Northeastern University School of Law. During law school, he worked for a federal judge and in the Senate Judiciary Committee. He then practiced law at K&L Gates as an associate in the Commercial Litigation, Probate Litigation, and Private Client practice groups. Paul left the firm to get a PhD at Brandeis University, focusing his studies on American Politics and Public Law. He teaches classes on law and American political development and is especially interested in the politics of the South. Paul wrote his first book on southern state constitutional development from secession to the turn of the twentieth century and is now working on a project examining the manipulation of time and historical memory in Dixie.
