A.A. Gordon

A.A. Gordon

A.A. GORDON is the Canadian author of The Dowrra Series, a paranormal romance series with lots of bite. She grew up on a small farm in Markdale, north of Toronto, where her vivid imagination knew no bounds amidst the maple forests, barn beams, and hay fields. She moved downtown to study history and English at Ryerson University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in just three years.

GORDON is a charismatic woman with a mind so full of her vibrant stories she can barely sleep at night. She has always been very inquisitive, and it was her interest in people and their complexities that first sparked her writing career. She wrote her first novel at the age of eleven as a way to continue expressing her imagination and has since written many more books and series.

As well as being a very gifted writer, GORDON is a powerhouse of ambition and passion. In June 2018, she co-founded Runefire Publications in Southampton, Ontario with Abby Bolton and Rick Irwin, who saw the great merit of her writing. GORDON’s hope is that she can one day provide the support that new and rural Canadian authors need.
